Map Time follows in the footsteps of Knot Time, but this time you will
be learning the basics of orienteering with a map and compass rather than learning knots.
Even in the era of fancy digital maps and GPS units, people who spend time in the outdoors can benefit
from understanding how to navigate with a map and compass. Orienteering is also a fundamental skill that
is required to excel at the exciting sport of adventure racing.
Lessons include overviews of maps and compasses, as well as some specifics such as reading a topographic map,
finding your location, and navigating from one location to another.
Great for hikers, moutain bikers, kayakers, rafters, and anybody else who spends time off the beaten path.
